Flair Airlines will more than double its flight service with an expanded route service launching June 15, which will see the ULCC operate flights from Halifax, Saskatoon, Calgary, Prince George, and Victoria.

The increase will see Flair operate 208 flights per week (up from 90 weekly flights currently offered), with increased direct, one stop and connectivity throughout its network, including direct service between Toronto and Halifax, Winnipeg to Calgary and Vancouver, as well as Edmonton to Saskatoon, Prince George and Victoria.

Flair’s increased service launches just five days before WestJet’s ULCC Swoop takes flight on June 20, with the move declared a 'shot across the bow' by aviation consultant Robert Kokonis in a CBC report. Flair's service increase also takes place as Canada Jetlines' launch has been delayed due to a shortage of aircraft.
