Atout France campaign highlights food, festivals

From Sept. 23 to 29, Atout France is inviting urban and festive tourists to follow the live adventures of eight Canadian bloggers as they explore four destinations in France.

The #FestiveFrance challenge, organized by the France Tourism Development Agency in Canada around the fifth edition of the Fête de la Gastronomie national culinary festival, aims at promoting reputable gourmet and festive urban destinations, namely Nantes, Mulhouse in Alsace, Bordeaux-Périgueux and Bayonne-Pau.

The bloggers include Mayssam Samaha (Will Travel For Food), Caleigh Alleyne (The Booklet), Gregory Georges (Follow Summer), Nathan Fong (Fong On Food), Marie-Eve Blanchard (Como la espuma), Jennifer Doré Dallas (Moi mes souliers), Jonathan Custeau (Le Bourlingueur) and Catherine Lefebvre (Catherine Lefebvre).

Once in France, they will have to complete at least two missions a day – inspired from local customs and specialities. Followers may vote for their favorite #FestiveFrance destination and enter a chance to win a trip to France with Air France.
